VARC is first section when we sit for the cat exam. So it is very important if we start our exam in right way. So there are three ways to prepare for verbal section.

  1. We need to start reading newspaper and novels. It ll help to get the habit of long passage. It ll also help you maintain focus throughout reading the reading comprehension. The source we can use for reading newspaper can be The hindu, aeon, the economist, the mint, the guardian.
  2. If we analyse properly we can come to know that cat ask passage from different topics such as history, war, economy, political science, climate change, environment, ethics, human behaviour, languages. So we need to read articles from different topics it ll help us to read any reading comprehension when it come in the exam. You will not feel that this topic you have never heard off
  3. The last tip is to give lots of sectional test and lots of mocks. It ll help you to better prepare for cat VARC section. The more test you give the more will able to analyse yourself where you are making mistakes repeatedly.
